The First Step

We will need to gather some basic details about your book so we can provide you with a personalised quotation. This will be based on the specific elements of your book, so we will need to know;

• The total word count of your finished manuscript

• How many tables, graphics, illustrations or photos your book will contain (if any)

• Which publishing package you would like to use

Once you have all of this information, request a quotation by clicking the link below, or email Kim (kim@ panoramicpublishing .co.uk)*. Alternatively, you can call us between 8am and 3pm (UK) Monday to Friday.

Answering Questions and Agreeing Terms

Although we do our best to explain how the service works and the steps involved, it is quite usual for you to have some remaining questions after you have received your quotation. We will follow up with you a couple of days later to discuss any specific queries you may have and clarify anything that is unclear. At this time we will also agree full terms and next steps. This is usually done by phone.

Submitting Your Manuscript

Your book must be sent in electronic format, preferably as a Word file attached to an email. If your manuscript is not saved as a Word file, please talk to us first to make sure we can accept the particular format you have used.

Any images will need to be supplied as separate files, ideally jpg, with a minimum resolution of 300 pixels per inch to ensure clarity.

What Happens Next

Once you have approved your quotation and submitted your manuscript, we will raise an invoice for the initial deposit. As soon as payment is received your book will be assigned to one of our editors.

If we are producing any illustrative work for you, this will also begin straight away.
