Pagination & Layout.

Whether your book is a novel, poetry book, or children’s book, we will agree the overall look you want to achieve and the layout of any images to be included before creating a sample for review. We can make any changes to the layout you wish at this point.

Following your feedback, a digital proof of the full layout will be presented for final approval, before we create uploadable files for both e-book and print editions.

Full Cover Design.

No matter how great your book content is, if the cover does not grab attention - sales will be compromised. One of our talented and experienced cover designers will work with you to create the perfect cover for your book using free stock images, or an image you supply.

Where we are creating a hardback edition of your book you will also have the option of including a full dust jacket, depending upon the trim size selected.

ISBNs

Each edition of your book will require a separate International Standard Book Number (ISBN). We will purchase and register the appropriate number of ISBNs on your behalf from the relevant agency.

Account Setup.

A new ‘author’ email will be set up for you which will be used for publishing your book. We will also create a KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) account on your behalf, making your book globally available on Amazon in both e-book and print editions. To increase distribution to include a wide range of independent bookstores, e-book retailers, online stores and libraries, an Ingram Spark account will be set up for you as well.

All accounts will be in your name and full details will be handed to you once your book is fully published.

Upload & Publish.

Once you have fully approved the cover design and interior layout of your book, we will take care of entering the metadata (book details) and uploading all files to both Amazon KDP and Ingram Spark. We will check the digital proofs on your behalf and see everything through to publication for you.

Bespoke illustrations

Sometimes it’s just not possible to create exactly the cover design you envisage using only stock images and you may prefer to consider a bespoke illustration. Or perhaps you would like your book interior to be illustrated? We have a pool of talented artists we can call upon who will create stunning illustrations in your preferred style, to match your brief.

Full written feedback

We understand that sometimes authors want an independent set of eyes to take a look at their manuscript and give them honest feedback before going ahead with publication – something particularly true of first-time authors. We are happy to offer this extra service for a small additional fee.
